Job summary

Winona Health is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for the 2nd shift (5:00 pm–9:00 pm) on a 0.50 FTE basis. No weekends or holidays. Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience.

The role involves cleaning and disinfecting services across departments, patients, and residents. Flexibility to work in several positions with varied responsibilities and a focus on excellent customer service is required.

Housekeeping Aide

Position Overview:

The housekeeping aide position provides cleaning and disinfecting services to all departments, patients, and residents at Winona Health. The caregiver must be flexible to work in several positions with varied responsibilities. Must provide excellent customer service to those we serve.

Cleans designated areas following standard department cleaning duty lists.

Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Miscellaneous duties:The individual would be representing Winona Health by maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement programs, safety and environmental infection control standards. Also presenting a positive public image to staff, physicians, patients, families and visitors.

Essential Skills and Experience:

No degree required. This position would require the ability to work independently and have good organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports.
