Avalon Rehab & Care Center is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to join our team, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Schedule: 6AM-2PM, 3 weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, following infection control procedures, replenishing supplies, and maintaining equipment. We value reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, hotel, or healthcare cleaning experience is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Remove trash and replace liners throughout the facility
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests
• Ensure all areas meet facility cleanliness standards
