Job summary

Companion Health Services LLC is seeking dedicated Housekeeping Staff to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. The role involves dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens.

You will follow procedures, properly use cleaning equipment, and report issues to the supervisor. This position emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus but not required.
• Working knowledge and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Basic understanding of infection control protocols.

Job description

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff to join our team. The Housekeeping staff is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of housekeeping as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other public areas.
• Ensure all assigned areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols.
• Properly use and maintain cleaning products and equipment.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus but not required.
• Working knowledge and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Basic understanding of infection control protocols.
• Customer service-oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
