Job summary

Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie, Oklahoma is seeking a detail‑oriented Housekeeping Staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

You will dust, mop, sanitize, and disinfect, follow infection control protocols, and report safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor. The role supports a 7am–3pm shift, four days on and two days off, with competitive pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Basic infection control knowledge.
• Customer service minded attitude.

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Job description

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff to join our team. The Housekeeping staff is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of housekeeping as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

• Ensure all assigned areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus but not required.
• Working knowledge and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
