Job summary

Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a full-time Housekeeper for 32 hours per week, including every other weekend, to maintain clean and safe patient areas.

This role cleans assigned areas, uses pre-approved products and procedures, and ensures safety for residents, staff and visitors. Duties include laundry assistance and basic grounds maintenance.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; benefits include 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• The Housekeeper must work in an orderly, systematic fashion using pre-approved products, tools and procedures.
• Must take precautionary measures to ensure safety of residents, staff and visitors.
• Must understand and follow written and spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean, dust, polish furniture and equipment; sanitize beds, wheelchairs and bedside commodes.
• Empty wastebaskets and remove trash and isolation materials.
• Wash windows, walls and handrails.
• Clean, sanitize and deodorize restrooms; restock supplies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment.
• Perform basic grounds maintenance duties.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance related to protected health information.

Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a full-time Housekeeper, 32 hours/week including every other weekend.

This position is responsible for performing thorough cleaning and servicing of assigned areas at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeper is expected to work in an orderly, systematic fashion using pre-approved products, tools and procedures and must take all appropriate precautionary measures to ensure the safety of residents, staff members and visitors
• Dust, Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture and equipment, sanitize beds, wheelchairs and bedside commode
• Empty wastebaskets and remove trash and isolation materials
• Wash windows, walls and handrails
• Clean, sanitize, and deodorize restrooms and restock restroom supplies
• Maintain general upkeep of cleaning equipment
• Perform basic grounds maintenance duties
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA as it relates to protected health information
• Attend all required and mandatory meetings
• Assist with Laundry duties as needed
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of proper types of housekeeping equipment, cleaning agents, and sanitizing chemicals
• Ability to understand and follow written and spoken instructions
• Willingness to wear the proper personal protective equipment
