Job summary

Haralson Nursing and Rehab is seeking an excellent and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. Available hours are 7am-3pm with weekend commitments.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms, stocking carts, following infection control procedures, and reporting maintenance needs to supervisors. Candidates should present a courteous, professional demeanor and wear the assigned uniform.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping in healthcare settings is a plus.
• Ability to follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• The housekeeper is the focal point of our environmental service staff. He/she is responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the facility on a daily basis.
• Must be able to perform the necessary duties in the daily routine cleaning of resident rooms
• Must be able to perform the necessary duties for the monly carbolization cleaning of residents rooms
• Follow all safet procedures, infection control policies, and universal precautions to ensure the health and welfar of residents, staff and visitors
• Follow propper procedures for stocking housekeeping carts and closets
• All housekeepers must report to work in assigned uniform as deemed by the facility
• All housekeepers must report problems, concerns and maintenance issues to the supervisor
• All housekeepers must act in a courteous, professional, and apporpriate manner at all times
