Job summary

Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehab in Cedartown, GA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Available hours are 7am-3pm with weekend requirements.

You will clean resident rooms, corridors, and common areas, follow infection control procedures, and report issues to the supervisor. Uniforms are provided, and teamwork is essential in delivering a pleasant, sanitary facility. This hands-on role is vital to resident welfare and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• The housekeeper is the focal point of our environmental service staff. He/she is responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the facility on a daily basis.
• Must be able to perform the necessary duties in the daily routine cleaning of resident rooms
• Must be able to perform the necessary duties for the monly carbolization cleaning of residents rooms
• Follow all safet procedures, infection control policies, and universal precautions to ensure the health and welfar of residents, staff and visitors
• Follow propper procedures for stocking housekeeping carts and closets
• All housekeepers must report to work in assigned uniform as deemed by the facility
• All housekeepers must report problems, concerns and maintenance issues to the supervisor
• All housekeepers must act in a courteous, professional, and apporpriate manner at all times
