Job summary

Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehab is seeking hardworking Housekeeping Aides for our facility in Cedartown, GA. Available hours are 7am-3pm with a weekend requirement.

The role focuses on cleaning and sanitation of the facility and resident rooms, following infection control policies, and stocking carts and closets. You will report in uniform and engage professionally with staff, residents, and visitors while maintaining a courteous, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Cleaning and sanitation of the facility on a daily basis.
• Must perform daily routine cleaning of resident rooms.
• Follow infection control policies and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Must perform the necessary duties in the daily routine cleaning of resident rooms
• Must perform the necessary duties for the monthly carbolization cleaning of residents rooms
• Follow all safety procedures, infection control policies, and universal precautions to ensure the health and welfare of residents, staff and visitors
• Follow proper procedures for stocking housekeeping carts and closets
• All housekeepers must report to work in assigned uniform as deemed by the facility
• All housekeepers must report problems, concerns and maintenance issues to the supervisor
• All housekeepers must act in a courteous, professional, and appropriate manner at all times
