Job summary

Fountain Inn Post Acute is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to keep resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas clean and sanitary. You will follow infection control and safety procedures while using housekeeping equipment safely, supporting resident well-being and a welcoming environment for families and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or long-term care housekeeping experience a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and sanitize assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Clean walls, windows, mirrors, handrails and other high-touch surfaces.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas and supplies in an organized manner.
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues and supply needs promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families and visitors.
• Work independently and as part of a team to maintain facility cleanliness standards.
