Job summary

Preferred Care Health Centers is seeking dedicated housekeepers to join our Housekeeping Department, supporting a safe, clean environment for residents and staff. You will contribute to a sanitary living space and assist in maintaining comfort for patients.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, operating laundry equipment, and collaborating with teammates to uphold quality and patient care standards in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow a schedule.
• Flexible availability; may be required to work varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety in assigned areas.
• Ensuring housekeeping equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
• Removing trash and soiled linens (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds).
• Learning and operating commercial laundry equipment.
• Working collaboratively with other housekeeping team members.
• Demonstrating a strong work ethic with attention to quality and customer service.
• Maintaining a positive, caring attitude and acting in the best interest of patients.
• Reporting any areas in need of repair to a supervisor.
