Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, organized and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and sanitize assigned areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Clean walls, windows, mirrors, handrails and high-touch surfaces.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain carts, storage areas and supplies in an organized manner.
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues and supply needs promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families and visitors.
• Work independently and as part of a team to maintain cleanliness standards.
