This role plays a critical part in supporting resident well-being, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areasSweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areasClean lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and other public spacesEmpty trash receptacles and replace liners as neededClean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, dispensers, and other surfacesDust and sanitize handrails and other high-touch areasFollow all safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and chemical handling protocolsOperate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectivelyMaintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supplies in a clean and organized mannerReport safety concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs promptlyDemonstrate excellent customer service with residents, families, and visitorsWork independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plusAbility to follow instructions and safety guidelinesStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessGood communication and interpersonal skillsDependable, organized, and team-orientedWhat Makes You a Great FitPositive attitude and strong work ethicCompassion for an underserved populationCommitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environmentAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced settingPride in delivering quality work that enhances residents' quality of lifeWe are an equal opportunity employer.
