Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper maintains a sanitary, safe and clean environment and assists with preparations for special events at our facility.

The role involves cleaning client rooms, replenishing supplies, and ensuring equipment is well-maintained. Weekend and varied hours may be required to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year housekeeping experience in a similar facility (preferred).
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and climb stairs frequently.
• Ability to work weekends and varied hours.
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Clean client rooms and other assigned areas daily, including trash collection and linen changes.
• Replenish supplies and linen in client rooms as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and equipment in clean, working condition.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper maintains a sanitary, safe and clean environment and enhances the appearance of the facility. Additionally, the Housekeeper will assist with preparation for special events.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean client rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Replenish supplies and/or linen in client rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
• Ensure proper sanitation of all equipment, as required.
• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment techniques, as required.
• Available for alternate, evening and weekend schedules and shifts may be required to meet client needs, state and regulatory agency requirements and business necessity.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with current and former clients, client family members and referral sources.
• Comply with company's code of conduct.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping in a similar facility, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and varied hours
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and climb stairs frequently
• Valid driver license, excellent driving record, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
