Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health in Texas is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. The role maintains a sanitary, safe environment and supports event preparation as needed. Responsibilities include cleaning client rooms and common areas, restocking supplies, sanitizing surfaces, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping in a similar facility.
• Ability to work weekends and varied hours.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean client rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Replenish supplies and/or linen in client rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
• Ensure proper sanitation of all equipment, as required.
• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment techniques, as required.
• Available for alternate, evening and weekend schedules and shifts may be required to meet client needs, state and regulatory agency requirements and business necessity.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with current and former clients, client family members and referral sources.
• Comply with company's code of conduct.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper maintains a sanitary, safe, and clean environment and enhances the appearance of the facility. Additionally, the Housekeeper will assist with preparation for special events.
