Job summary

Spring Grove Recovery in Briargate, Colorado Springs, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow facility policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Interact with residents daily in a respectful, cooperative manner.
  • Perform routine cleaning procedures throughout the facility per policy.
  • Clean kitchen and dining areas to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Follow waste disposal procedures as outlined by policy.
  • Dispense and stock housekeeping supplies (soap, paper products, etc.).
  • Care for and use housekeeping equipment properly; report malfunctions.
  • Report areas needing repair or maintenance; assist with laundry as needed.
  • Observe infection control procedures and patient rights policies.

Our company operates Residential Treatment Programs for individuals with Substance Abuse Disorder. Responsibilities

  • Clean kitchen and dining areas
  • Follow all waste disposal procedures as outlined by facility policy
  • Dispense and stock housekeeping supplies (soap, paper products, etc.)
  • Care for and use housekeeping equipment properly; report malfunctions
  • Report areas needing repair or maintenance
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed
  • Observe infection control procedures and patient rights policies
  • Attend required in-service training programs
  • Identify and report safety hazards or emergencies
  • Demonstrate dependability by arriving on time and working scheduled shifts
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Accept feedback and guidance with a willingness to improve
  • Complete other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Executive Director
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience preferred
  • Personal passion or interest in substance abuse recovery strongly preferred
  • Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Authorization to work in the US is required
