Job summary

Cumberland Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. You will perform cleaning tasks in accordance with facility policy and uphold infection control standards to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for patients.

We provide on-the-job training, a supportive team, and a benefits package including dental, health, vision, and PTO. This is a full-time on-site position with an 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Operate housekeeping equipment safely.
• Follow MSDS and infection control procedures.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy.
• Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor.
• Maintain a positive and caring attitude toward patients.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills
• Operate housekeeping equipment safely
• Assist in proper care of housekeeping equipment
• Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy
• Follow written and oral instructions
• Follow MSDS
• Observe waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy
• Observe infection control procedures as related to Housekeeping Department
• Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor
• Remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients
