Job summary

Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center in Frederick, MD is hiring a full-time Housekeeper for 32 hours per week, including every other weekend. The role covers thorough cleaning and servicing of assigned areas to maintain a safe living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, sanitizing beds and equipment, restroom restocking, waste disposal, window washing, and basic grounds maintenance. Experience with cleaning chemicals is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of proper housekeeping equipment, cleaning agents, and sanitizing chemicals.
• Ability to understand and follow written and spoken instructions.
• Willingness to wear proper personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture; sanitize beds and wheelchairs.
• Empty wastebaskets; remove trash and isolation materials.
• Wash windows, walls and handrails; clean restrooms and restock supplies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and perform basic grounds maintenance.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance where applicable; attend mandatory meetings.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed; perform other related duties.

Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a full-time Housekeeper, 32 hours/week including every other weekend.

This position is responsible for performing thorough cleaning and servicing of assigned areas at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeper is expected to work in an orderly, systematic fashion using pre-approved products, tools and procedures and must take all appropriate precautionary measures to ensure the safety of residents, staff members and visitors
• Dust, Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture and equipment, sanitize beds, wheelchairs and bedside commode
• Empty wastebaskets and remove trash and isolation materials
• Wash windows, walls and handrails
• Clean, sanitize, and deodorize restrooms and restock restroom supplies
• Maintain general upkeep of cleaning equipment
• Perform basic grounds maintenance duties
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA as it relates to protected health information
• Attend all required and mandatory meetings
• Assist with Laundry duties as needed
• Perform other related duties as required
