Job summary

Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Housekeeper in Maryland. The role covers cleaning and servicing assigned areas, with a 32-hour work week including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of proper housekeeping equipment, cleaning agents, and sanitizing chemicals.
• Ability to understand and follow written and spoken instructions.
• Willingness to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Work in an orderly, systematic fashion using pre-approved products, tools and procedures and follow safety precautions.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture and equipment; sanitize beds, wheelchairs and bedside commodes.
• Empty wastebaskets; remove trash and isolation materials.
• Wash windows, walls and handrails; clean and deodorize restrooms; restock supplies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and perform basic grounds maintenance duties.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Attend mandatory meetings and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a full-time Housekeeper, 32 hours/week including every other weekend.

This position is responsible for performing thorough cleaning and servicing of assigned areas at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeper is expected to work in an orderly, systematic fashion using pre-approved products, tools and procedures and must take all appropriate precautionary measures to ensure the safety of residents, staff members and visitors
• Dust, Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture and equipment, sanitize beds, wheelchairs and bedside commode
• Empty wastebaskets and remove trash and isolation materials
• Wash windows, walls and handrails
• Clean, sanitize, and deodorize restrooms and restock restroom supplies
• Maintain general upkeep of cleaning equipment
• Perform basic grounds maintenance duties
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA as it relates to protected health information
• Attend all required and mandatory meetings
• Assist with Laundry duties as needed
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications
