Spaulding Hospital Cambridge, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Environmental Services Associate to thoroughly clean areas, dispose of hazardous waste, and sterilize equipment to prevent disease spread.

This onsite role at 1575 Cambridge Street offers rotating shifts and hourly pay between $17.71 and $22.15, with Mass General Brigham benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply them safely.
• Familiarity with cleaning tools such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in alignment with infection control guidelines and schedules.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Cleans and services assigned areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Operates floor machines and buffers as needed.
• Attends a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually.
