Job summary

Benedictine is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and bathing spaces, while following infection control guidelines and site procedures.

The role includes discharging residents, preparing rooms for new admissions, stocking supplies, and operating cleaning equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness throughout the facility, including resident rooms, public/restrooms, and shower/bathing areas, following policies and infection control guidelines.
• Completes resident discharges and prepares rooms for next admission; ensures areas are stocked with soap, towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Operates and cares for housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, carts, carpet cleaners, and related tools.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.

Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.

Qualifications Preferred

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
