Job summary

Benedictine Living Community-Cold Spring is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, restrooms and shared spaces in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include preparing rooms for new admissions, stocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and following infection control guidelines.

This full-time role offers dayshift, with weekend rotation as required, and a salary range of $18.54-$21.52 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission.
• Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.

Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.
