Benedictine's Villa St. Benedict in Lisle, IL is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including resident rooms, public restrooms, and shower areas, in accordance with policies and infection-control guidelines.

The role involves completing resident discharges and preparing rooms for new admissions, keeping areas stocked with soap, towels, and toilet paper, and operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carpet cleaners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident/patient rooms, public and restrooms, and bathing areas per policies and infection control guidelines.
• Complete resident discharges and prepare rooms for next admission.
• Ensure stocked supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) in all areas.
• Operate and care for housekeeping equipment (vacuum, carts, carpet cleaners).

Job description

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.

Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.

Qualifications Preferred

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
