Job summary

Willow Valley Associates in Lancaster, PA is seeking a detail-oriented part-time Housekeeper to join the DoubleTree by Hilton team. You will help create a clean, welcoming environment for guests while working a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms to Hilton standards, handling linens, restocking supplies, and providing warm hospitality to guests. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; Hilton Brand Training is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Hilton Brand Training required upon hire.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms per Brand Standards.
• Collect soiled linens and store clean linens.
• Move furniture, change light bulbs, restock bathrooms and guest supplies.
• Empty trash and transport to disposal areas.
• Perform cleaning across rooms, corridors, lobbies, restrooms and public areas.
• Tag and turn in lost and found items daily.
• Assist in laundry as needed.
• Provide warm hospitality and exceed guest expectations.

What You'll Do:

• Room Wizard: Clean and maintain guest rooms and premises according to Willow Valley Associates and Hilton Brand Standards.
• Linen Guru: Collect soiled linens for laundering and store clean linens in the closet.
• Detail Virtuoso: Move and arrange furniture, change light bulbs, and replenish bathroom and guest supplies.
• Trash Master: Empty and clean wastebaskets, transport trash to disposal areas.
• Cleaning Pro: Sweep, dust, scrub, wash, polish, wax, and clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, floors, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, sills, metalwork, equipment, lighting fixtures, tile surfaces, and trim.
• Lost & Found Hero: Tag and turn in all lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper daily.
• Laundry Helper: Assist in laundry as needed.
• Hospitality Champion: Provide a superior experience to all guests by giving warm hospitality and executing ways to exceed expectations.

Qualifications of Housekeeper:

• Experience: 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Certifications: Hilton Brand Training required upon hire.
• Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information.

Physical Demands/Environment:

• An active role where there will be frequent standing and walking to occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
