Job summary

Willow Valley Associates is seeking a Guest Services Associate for our Harrisburg, PA location at Hilton Garden Inn. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, manage guest accounts, and assist with reservations with a smile.

This full-time role operates day and evening shifts (some weekends) with growth opportunities and a benefits package including medical, vision, dental, a 401(k) match, loyalty discounts, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year of related experience or training.
• Skills: General computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, UKG, and PEP.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk: handle check-ins and check-outs with a smile and manage guest accounts.
• Cash Handling: maintain accurate cash drawers and post charges.
• Guest Liaison: answer inquiries about hotel services and local attractions, make reservations.
• Communication: relay messages and assist in-house communications.
• Sales: sell items through the hotel shops, including seasonal tickets and more.
• Hospitality: provide a superior guest experience with warm hospitality.

Qualifications:

• Skills: General computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook Email, UKG, and PEP.
• Certifications: Hilton Brand Training required upon hire; RAMP Certification preferred but will train upon hire.
• Safety First: Follow Willow Valley's safety policies and procedures, promoting safety and identifying areas for improvement.

Physical Demands/Environment:

• You should be able to perform a range of tasks, from administrative duties to occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
