Willow Valley Associates in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a part-time Houseperson to join the Homewood Suites team. This role involves cleaning, restocking, and assisting front desk with deliveries to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

No prior housekeeping experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required as part of seasonal business needs. Hilton-affiliated benefits are available for part-time staff.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Remove trash from entrances, parking areas and sidewalks; manage waste disposal.
• Keep hallways clear by end of each shift.
• Tag and turn in lost and found items to the Supervisor.
• Provide warm hospitality and exceed guest expectations.

Hiring for a Part-Time Position

House Person and Cleaning Responsibilities

• Cleaning Pro: Perform general daily cleaning and vacuuming of hallways, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, lobby, and other designated work areas.
• Supply Specialist: Deliver needed supplies to linen rooms and housekeeping carts, put away cots and cribs, and assist with room deliveries as needed by the Front Desk.
• Housekeeping Helper: Assist Housekeepers as needed to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Trash Master: Pick up trash at entrances, parking areas, and flower beds; empty outside receptacles; sweep entrances and sidewalks; and transport trash to the designated waste disposal area.
• Hallway Hero: Keep hallways clear of all items by the end of each shift.
• Lost & Found Hero: Tag and turn in all lost and found items to the Supervisor.
• Hospitality Champion: Provide a superior experience to all guests by giving warm hospitality and executing ways to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or related experience preferred, but not required.
• Certifications: Hilton Brand Training required upon hire.
• Skills: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical Demands/Environment

• An active role where there will be frequent standing and walking, with the ability to perform cleaning, lifting, carrying, sweeping, vacuuming, and other physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Enjoy a bustling environment where every day is just a little different.
• Due to seasonal needs within the hospitality industry, it may be necessary to adjust schedules to meet the demands of our business.
