+ Location: Allied Skilled Nursing - 303 Smallacombe Drive, Scranton, PA 18501. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: 6 months of experience preferred; willing to train.

+ Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities per layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping calls, including spills and broken items.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
