• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.
• Location: Eastern State Hospital - 1350 Bull Lea Road, Lexington, KY 40511 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full and part-time shifts. Must be able to work rotating weekends/holidays from 7:00 am to 11:30 am; Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. More details provided during interview.
• Requirement: Previous experience preferred but not required. Willing to train!
• Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of waste hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities per layout.
• Responds to guest and staff queries and requests.
• Handles housekeeping issues like spills and broken items.
• Contributes to team efforts, maintaining professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
