Job summary

Freeman Regional Health Services seeks a full-time Environmental Services worker for day shifts (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.). The role focuses on maintaining a clean environment across patient rooms, offices, and common areas, with rotating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Maintains stock on cleaning carts with wet and dry supplies.
• Maintains good customer relations and cooperative working with employees across departments.
• Manages workload and prioritizes tasks.
• Maintains competency and serves as a resource to staff as needed.
• Ensures cleanliness and organization across all assigned spaces.

Position Highlights Full Time (80 hours per pay period) Benefit Eligible Work Shifts Available Day Shift (Day Shift (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)) Rotating Weekends/Holidays Job Summary Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas which may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and lobby areas. Essential Functions

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times by demonstrating a good rapport and cooperative working relationship with employees, all departments, coworkers and other pertinent staff.
• Responsible for managing workload.
• Maintain competency and serve as a resource to staff members as needed.
• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and lobby areas.
