Job summary

Freeman Regional Health Services in Freeman, SD, is seeking individuals to join our team as a full-time environmental services associate focused on maintaining a clean and safe patient and staff environment. Shifts include day hours with rotating weekends/holidays as needed.

You will perform cleaning duties across patient rooms, offices, lounges, and common areas; stock supplies, support team members, and uphold excellent customer relations while managing workload in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the hours specified.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, washing, mopping and vacuuming.
• Maintain stock on cleaning carts and workplace supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area such as patient rooms, offices, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas and lobby.
• Participates in all cleaning activities including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture and trash removal.
• Keeps assigned area stocked with supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
• Responsible for maintaining stock on cleaning carts with wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations and cooperate with staff across departments.
• Manage workload and serve as a resource to staff as needed.
