Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Housekeeper in Houston, TX. The role involves cleaning tasks across interior and exterior areas of the community, with reports to a Supervisor and adherence to safety and service standards.

Responsibilities include various cleaning duties, supply management per OSHA guidelines, and timely communication with supervision. This is a full-time, on-site position offering comprehensive benefits and travel for training as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
• Maintain supplies and cleaning solutions according to OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
• Ensure that all security procedures and safety precautions are adhered to at all times.
• Deliver packages to residence when applicable.
• Adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards and respond to all calls by the end of the next business day.
• Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
• Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedule.
• Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
• May participate in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain knowledge of new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
