Job summary

CBS Building Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a dependable housekeeper to maintain clean common areas and assist with overall property cleanliness at our Houston apartment community.

Location: 1950 Winrock Blvd, Houston, TX. Employment Type: Full-Time. Pay rate: $15.50 per hour. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while following safety procedures and communicating professionally with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable and have good attendance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the workday.
• Must be able to communicate professionally with residents and property staff.
• Must be willing to follow company policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain apartment community common areas, hallways, lobbies, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and other shared spaces.
• Remove trash and maintain clean surroundings.
• Clean windows, doors, elevators, and other areas as assigned.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are needed.
• Follow all company cleaning procedures and safety standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with residents, visitors, and team members.
• Complete other cleaning duties as assigned.
