Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor to perform cleaning and maintenance across interior and exterior areas of our community. The role requires attention to safety, supply management, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, offering comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) with company match. The successful candidate will inspect work, follow safety procedures, and ensure sanitary standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and restroom cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies and maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements.
• Removes trash, reports discrepancies, and ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Inspects areas daily, maintains equipment, and adheres to security protocols.
• Completes daily work orders and supports a friendly, professional environment.
