Qualifications

• Maintain assigned rooms/areas and complete cleaning checklists as required.
• Support laundry/linen handling duties (sorting, washing, folding, restocking).
• Remove waste and ensure proper disposal practices.
• Follow housekeeping procedures and uphold safety-first, team-first approach.

Housekeeper (Remote) - Winnemucca, NV

We are seeking a reliable Housekeeper for rotational, site-based work at a remote mining camp in the Winnemucca, NV region. This is a150-person occupancy camp.

Basics

• Clean and sanitize camp facilities to established standards (crew/guest accommodations, washrooms, common areas)
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and restocking supplies
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces using approved products and methods
• Maintain assigned rooms/areas and complete cleaning checklists as required
• Support laundry/linen handling duties as assigned (sorting, washing, folding, and restocking)
• Remove waste and ensure proper disposal practices
• Follow Matrix housekeeping procedures and always work in a safety-first, team-first manner

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping and/or sanitation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
• Comfortable working efficiently in a remote camp environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light-to-moderate items as needed
• Ability to work rotational schedules in remote conditions
• Willingness to complete any required site onboarding and training

Mine Site Safety & Compliance (MSHA / Nevada)

• MSHA certification is required
• Must comply with all applicable mine safety and health requirements, including MSHA regulations (30 CFR) and site-specific safety orientation/training
• PPE and site rules are required (site-provided during onboarding)
• Reference and criminal record checks will be completed
• Some sites may require pre-access drug screening and/or fitness-for-duty clearance

Preference

• Preference will be given to local candidates (or those with proximity) in the Winnemucca, NV region.

Employment Eligibility

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

• Matrix will comply with all applicable U.S. employment verification requirements (I-9)
