Matrix Camps, Logistics & Aviation is hiring a Janitor for rotational, site-based work at a remote mining camp in Winnemucca, NV. The role demands cleaning, sanitizing, and upkeep across camp facilities with strict adherence to safety procedures.

The position requires experience in janitorial or custodial work, the ability to operate in a remote camp, and a willingness to complete onboarding and site safety orientation. Rotation is 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, custodial, sanitation, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote camp environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning/sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light-to-moderate items as required.
• Willingness to complete required onboarding, training, and site safety orientation.
• Ability to work a rotational schedule.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain camp facilities according to established schedules and checklists
• Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, and cleaning common areas
• Disinfect and maintain high-touch surfaces using approved products and procedures
• Empty trash, remove waste, and ensure proper waste handling/disposal
• Support basic floor/area upkeep (spot cleaning, housekeeping touch-ups, minor maintenance support as directed)
• Assist with restroom and common area restocking (paper goods, soap, etc.) as needed
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor
• Maintain a safety-first, team-first approach in all work areas

Matrix Camps, Logistics & Aviation is hiring a Janitor for rotational, site-based work at a remote mining camp in the Winnemucca, NV region (approximately 150-person occupancy).

• Clean and maintain camp facilities according to established schedules and checklists
• Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, and cleaning common areas

Mine Site Safety & Compliance (MSHA / Nevada)

• MSHA certification is required
• Must comply with all applicable mine safety and health requirements, including MSHA regulations (30 CFR) and site-specific safety orientation/training
• PPE and site rules are required (site-provided during onboarding)
• Reference and criminal record checks will be completed
• Some sites may require pre-access drug screening and/or fitness-for-duty clearance

Preference

Preference will be given to local candidates (and candidates with proximity) in the Winnemucca, NV region.

Employment Eligibility

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
• Matrix will comply with all applicable U.S. employment verification requirements (I-9)
