Job summary

Blakehurst is a Life Plan Community in Towson, MD, seeking Housekeepers to maintain clean and presentable Health Center, Independent Living Apartments, and common areas. Shifts are full-time, with 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday and every other weekend in the Comprehensive Care Unit; Independent Living is Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays.

Compensation ranges from $15.75 to $17.75 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we ask about your vaccination status.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties in the Health Center, such as resident rooms, restrooms, beauty shop, offices and all common areas.
• Follows infection control policies and procedures.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, changing bed linen, dusting, trash removal, floor care and other duties as assigned.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
