Job summary

The Blake at Carnes Crossroads in Summerville, SC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff.

You will perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, and common areas, use proper chemicals, operate and care for equipment, and support a warm, compassionate atmosphere for seniors.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas daily.
• Utilize appropriate chemicals according to procedures and state rules.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Transport trash and hazardous waste to disposal area and restock supplies.

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper for The Blake at Carnes Crossroads

Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Responsible for to assuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements
• Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required.

• Must be able to work flexible schedule; including weekends and holidays as scheduled
