Job summary

Blakehurst in Towson, MD is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our full-time dining team. You will prepare and serve meals in our community dining rooms, support sanitation, and ensure residents receive attentive, respectful service.

Qualifications

• Create positive interactions with seniors.
• Follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Understand measurements.
• Ability to plan and organize work, follow diet orders, and interpret specifications and standards.
• Previous experience in senior living food service preferred.
• Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals in the various dining rooms.
• Transport hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Assists with clean up and sanitation.

Schedule: Full-time - 5 days a week, including every other weekend
