Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Devonshire community seeks a Housekeeper to clean resident homes and common areas. Shifts include Wednesday–Friday 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, Saturday–Sunday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; off Mon–Tue. No travel involved within the community.

The role offers hourly compensation and benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, and education support. AHCA background screening applies for new hires in Florida.

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet cleaning equipment, hard floor care equipment, and trash removal equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping vehicles.
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures.
• Clean lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, decluttering, and removing trash.
• Clean classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs.
• Assist with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, and replace trashcan liners.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

Join our team as a Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. All of our clients are located within our community, so no travel is involved!

HOUSEKEEPER

Wednesday thru Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Off: Monday & Tuesday

How you will make an impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.

• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What you will need
