Erickson Senior Living’s Devonshire community is hiring a Housekeeper in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. All residents live within the community; no travel is required. Shifts are Wed–Fri 10:00 AM–6:30 PM and Sat–Sun 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with Mon–Tue off.

The role involves cleaning resident homes and public areas using specialized equipment. The position offers competitive pay of $16.00 per hour, with extensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with a 3% match, PTO, certification

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping vehicles.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home rooms.
• Maintain community cleanliness using specialized equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, lobbies, and living spaces.
• Vacuum, dust, remove trash, and spot-clean surfaces.
• Clean classrooms and common areas as needed.
• Assist with trash collection, disposal, and liner replacement.
• Maintain carpeted areas through extraction and vacuuming.

Location: Devonshire by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. All of our clients are located within our community, so no travel is involved!

HOUSEKEEPER

Wednesday thru Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Off: Monday & Tuesday

How You Will Make An Impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What You Will Need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
