Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Hingham, MA invites you to join our team as a Housekeeper. You will clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home areas, maintain overall community cleanliness, and support on-site dining and common spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to operate carpet care and hard floor care equipment safely.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to operate housekeeping vehicles safely.
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home spaces.
• Maintain community cleanliness using appropriate equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, counters, mirrors, sinks and fixtures.
• Vacuum lobbies and living areas, dust, declutter, remove trash, clean walls and baseboards.
• Clean classrooms with dusting and vacuuming.
• Assist with trash collection and disposal, replace liners.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces, including extraction and interim cleaning.

Join our team as a Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. All of our clients are located within our community, so no travel is involved!

Schedules

• Full-time Tuesday - Saturday, 8am to 4:30pm
• Part-time Saturday/Sunday 8am to 4:30pm

Compensation: $19 - $21 hourly commensurate with experience

How You Will Make An Impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What You Will Need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
