Sonida Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper in Saint Joseph, MO to help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for our residents. You will work closely with the team to deliver exceptional care and experience in our community, handling housekeeping, laundry, and related tasks with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have a caring attitude, reliable attendance, and basic housekeeping or janitorial experience. 18+ and High school diploma or GED preferred.

Formación

• Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred.
• Required license/certification, if applicable.
• A caring attitude and reliable attendance.
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred; familiarity with minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and HVAC systems is helpful.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment needed for laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Familiarizes self with cleaning schedules of Residents’ apartments and common areas to assure completion of housekeeping tasks.
• Performs housekeeping, janitorial tasks, and minor repairs as assigned.
• Assures that other janitorial and repair requests are properly logged and monitors their completion.
• Provides laundry services as needed and/or directed.

The Day-to-day
