Job summary

Park Place Senior Living at Winghaven in O’Fallon, MO is seeking a Housekeeper to help create a welcoming, safe home for residents. You will perform housekeeping, janitorial tasks, and laundry services with dependable teamwork and a caring attitude.

Starting rate is $18.00 per hour. Benefits include education support, referral programs, paid time off, and training opportunities. Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required.
• Required license/certification, if applicable.
• A caring attitude and reliable attendance.
• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred; familiarity with minor repair techniques.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment for laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Familiarizes self with cleaning schedules of Residents' apartments and common areas to ensure completion of tasks.
• Performs housekeeping, janitorial tasks, and minor repairs as assigned.
• Ensures other janitorial and repair requests are properly logged and tracked to completion.
• Provides laundry services as needed and/or directed.

THE JOB: As a Houskeeper, you'll help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for our residents. THE STARTING RATE: $18.00 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment needed for laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Familiarizes self with cleaning schedules of Residents' apartments and common areas to assure completion of housekeeping tasks.
• Performs housekeeping, janitorial tasks, and minor repairs as assigned.
• Assures that other janitorial and repair requests are properly logged and monitors their completion.
• Provides laundry services as needed and/or directed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required
• Required license/certification, if applicable
• A caring attitude and reliable attendance
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful
• Must be 18 years of age or older
