Job summary

Bedford Care Center of Petal is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform daily cleaning tasks inside and outside the facility under supervision. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

You will coordinate with other departments to meet residents' needs. Ideal candidates are able to read and write to understand policies, prefer prior long-term care housekeeping experience, and can lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must read and write at a level to understand company policies and applicable laws.
• Prefer housekeeping experience in a long-term care facility.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping inside and outside the facility under supervision.
• Sweep, dust mop, damp/wet mop floors in hallways, offices and common areas daily.
• Clean soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms, sinks and toilets.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, organized and properly stored.
• Communicate courteously with staff in other departments to meet residents' needs.

Job Summary

Job Duties

• Sweeps, dust mops, damp/wet mops floors in hallways, offices and common areas daily

• Cleans soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms, sinks, toilets and other areas

• Keeps equipment and work areas clean, safe organized and keeps equipment and supplies properly stored

• Communicates courteously with staff in other Departments to adequately meet the needs of the Residents

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to understand Company Policies, applicable Laws and Regulations regarding job duties; prefer previous Housekeeping experience in a long-term care Facility; must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check
