Job summary

Bedford Care Centers seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to perform daily housekeeping duties inside and outside the facility under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping, cleaning bathrooms and common areas, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and communicating courteously with staff to meet residents' needs. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must read and write at a level to understand policies and regulations.
• Prefer housekeeping experience in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors daily in hallways, offices and common areas.
• Clean soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms and sinks.
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean, safe and organized; stores supplies properly.
• Communicates courteously with staff to meet residents' needs.

Job Summary

Performs daily Housekeeping duties inside and outside Facility under supervision of Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Duties

• Sweeps, dust mops, damp/wet mops floors in hallways, offices and common areas daily


• Cleans soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms, sinks, toilets and other areas


• Keeps equipment and work areas clean, safe organized and keeps equipment and supplies properly stored


• Communicates courteously with staff in other Departments to adequately meet the needs of the Residents

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to understand Company Policies, applicable Laws and Regulations regarding job duties; prefer previous Housekeeping experience in a long-term care Facility; must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check
