Job summary

Bedford Care Centers is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform daily housekeeping inside and outside the facility under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor.

The role requires reliability, physical fitness to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents. Duties include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and coordinating with staff to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to understand Company Policies, applicable Laws and Regulations regarding job duties.
• Must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, dust mops, damp/wet mops floors in hallways, offices and common areas daily.
• Cleans soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms, sinks, toilets and other areas.
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean, safe organized and keeps equipment and supplies properly stored.
• Communicates courteously with staff in other Departments to adequately meet the needs of the Residents.

Job Summary :
