Palm Point Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Full Time Housekeeper.

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida, minutes from Cape Canaveral. It treats adults, children, and adolescents with various behavioral health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, in a modern facility. The hospital offers inpatient treatment options serving Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, on Florida’s Space Coast, is about 30 miles north of Cocoa Beach and 40 miles east of Orlando’s theme parks. Visitors can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and Canaveral National Seashore. The area offers abundant activities along the Atlantic coast, a friendly community, and a favorable climate.

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting various hospital areas, including patient rooms, waiting rooms, restrooms, cafeteria, break rooms, offices, and other spaces.

Hospital housekeepers are responsible for:

1. Cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows
2. Disinfecting surfaces and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents and infection control protocols
3. Changing bed linens
4. Maintaining an infection-free environment throughout the hospital
5. Utilizing approved cleaning solutions for proper disinfection
6. Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff
