We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and organization of our community spaces. The Housekeeper plays an essential role in maintaining a sanitary and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan, organize, and adhere to a cleaning schedule.
• Perform cleaning assignments and ensure compliance with cleanliness and infection control standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Report maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Manage housekeeping inventory and ensure adequate supplies.
• Assist with plant and flower care as needed.
• Prepare rooms for new residents after discharge.
• Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals and maintain proper labeling.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings to improve service and operational efficiency.

Physical Demands:

• Standing, sitting, walking, and changing positions frequently.
• Lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs.; pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to crouch, kneel, balance, stoop, and bend.

Safety Requirements:

• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, gowns, and face protection.
• Use lumbar support when lifting heavy items.
• Wear non-slip supportive shoes.
• Follow OSHA standards for hazardous chemical handling and SDS guidelines.
• Mandatory reporting of work-related injuries within 12 hours.
• Participation in company drug testing procedures.

Work Environment:

This job operates in an indoor environment with adequate lighting and ventilation. It may include attending outdoor or public activities with residents.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
