Job summary

Regional Health Services of Howard County is seeking a punctual, detail-oriented housekeeping team member to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our health facility. You will help ensure a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include dusting, washing, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, waxing, and basic laundry tasks as needed. On-the-job training is provided, and clear English communication is required for safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience desirable, but not required.
• Must have ability to plan and organize scheduled work.
• Must be able to speak English to the extent needed for training, safety, and co-worker communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities in a clean, sanitary, and attractive condition for patient care and staff.
• Performs housekeeping tasks: dusting, washing, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, waxing, and lint/drawer care.
• May perform minimal laundry duties as part of housekeeping duties.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Maintains facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for patient care and staff work. Performs a variety of housekeeping duties that may include dusting, washing, and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment, sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing floors, gathering and disposing of refuse; arranging furniture and performing similar tasks. May also perform minimal laundry duties.
