Job summary

Avera Granite Falls Health Care Center seeks a housekeeping team member for an as-needed daytime role in Granite Falls, MN.

The position requires flexible scheduling, including weekends or holidays, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting department needs. You will help maintain patient rooms, lounges and hallways to support a clean, safe care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1–3 months related housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby.
• Participate in dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and trash.
• Keep assigned area stocked with supplies.
• Maintain stock on cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• Sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.

A Brief Overview

Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas which may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.

What You Will Do

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas must include: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience

• High School or GED Equivalent
• One to three months related experience
