Job summary

Ebenezer’s Nine Mile Creek Senior Living Community in Bloomington, MN is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for the Day shift. The position provides a clean, safe environment for residents, staff and visitors and includes a Tuesday–Thursday block schedule 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Light maintenance tasks and safety training are part of the role.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to cleaning protocols and proper chemical handling. Competitive hourly pay and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident and common areas as assigned.

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Housekeeper to join our senior living team at Nine Mile in Bloomington, MN! This position provides a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents, staff and visitors.

This environmental services schedule includes;

• 48 hours every two weeks
• Par time; Day shift
• Block Shedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Nine Mile Creek Senior Living Community offers a total of 93 units; Independent, Assisted and Memory Care. Our community is in Bloomington, Minnesota next to the natural and rejuvenating setting ofMoir Parkwith all theculture and entertainment of the Twin Citiesjust minutes away. Responsibilities

• Cleans resident and common areas of the community as assigned.
• Performs thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops hard floor surfaces, dusts and/or damp wipes surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms, cleans all glass windows/mirrors.
• Prioritizes tasks and completes within allotted time.
• Assists in cleaning emergency spills as needed.
• Assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
• Follows cleaning schedule and instructions regarding specifications of resident’s individualized housekeeping needs.
• Performs job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment.
• Safely mixes chemicals according to instructions provided by the manufacturer
• Consistently follows safe body mechanics
• Demonstrates precautionary work practices for the safety of others in the work areas, such as electric cords, wet floor signs, etc.
• Completes all OSHA training modules in a timely manner.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Maintains housekeeping cart and storage area on daily basis.
• Safeguards others’ well-being by keeping chemicals and other hazardous materials locked when not in active use.
• Communicates supplies that need to be re-stocked.
• Communicates need for equipment repairs.
• Adheres to all Lockout/Tagout requirements per policy.
• Assists with light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Participates actively in team meetings, reports on current state in the Community, providing feedback on housekeeping-related items as they arise.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to utilize software programs in order to complete work functions

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years of previous experience
• Experience utilizing software programs such as Educare or TELS in order to complete necessary job functions
